So Much

I would read this story in my class. It would teach the kids that they are loved by each of their family members in different ways and that familys get together to celebrate birthdays and other holidays. I think I would use it when we are talking about birthdays and families and maybe have the kids think of who they would invite to a suprise party for a family member and have them draw a picture of the suprise party to give it to that family member.

Educational Philosophy

I believe that learning is a very important part of growing up and it helps us to become the people we are today. I also believe that everyone deserves an education and that almost everything we do in a normal day to day life should be taught to some extent. I think anything that we as people find interesting should be taught also as long as it does not harm others in the process.

I want to teach kindergarden. That is my dream. I have basically grown up in daycare. And having been in that environment for a good part of my life, I feel connected to the younger children. I have also had experience in a kindergarden classroom and in an after school program since leaving my elementary school days behind. During my senior year of high school, I participated in an elementary education class where we helped out in the grade of our choice. We observed and also taught a lession of our own. I have always been interested in teaching... it has just taken me a while to actually get there.
